When submitting artwork in illustrator format, one common issue is font not embedded in the artwork, causing missing font error when the print provider processes the file. One quick remedy is to ‘outline’ the fonts for print. As the screenshot above show, highlight the text that you’d like to embed, then go to the Text menu, and click on ‘Create Outlines’. The text will be converted to vectors, and will no longer be edit-able. It is best to create a backup copy of the original art without outlines for future edits.
